The Harbour Kitchen Overview

‘The Harbour Kitchen’, the gateway to Victoria Harbour, Docklands, Melbourne’s new 21st century urban waterfront.

‘The Harbour Kitchen’ is positioned on Victoria Harbours waterfront and boasts views north facing of the new harbour, the Melbourne city skyline, Telstra Dome and the Bolte Bridge. A glass facade and outdoor glass pavilion harbour side, maximises the light and waterfront views all day everyday of the year.

The café bar offers easy accessibility by car, bike, public transport, boat or by foot with direct access to the promenade from all directions. Being on the waterside at the base of the distinctive new NAB building it is a place for the occupants, as well as local businesses & residents, Telstra Dome & footy patrons, tourists, families, bike riders, joggers, walkers, boating groups, private parties and any visitor to the vicinity to meet, eat and relax.

‘The Harbour Kitchen’ is a ‘third place’- an alternative space to the home and the office where people can socialise, relax, party, conduct informal business meetings or just sit back and enjoy. It is highly accessible so that people make the Harbour Kitchen a regular part of their routine.

‘The Harbour Kitchen’ has been created to have a casual yet contemporary feel for the space, with various zones to cater for different uses of the space, such as a “lounge” area with an open fire, plasma screen and subdued lighting, with other areas having banquette or bar setting. There is a glass pavilion and outside dinning situated on the promenade linked to the café taking in all the views on offer. The exterior has a zinc metallic look and the interior has natural earthy elements combined with semi-industrial treatments of the roof and other details. Fresh colour highlights of green are complemented by earthy tones of taupe and browns. The classic Eames chair adds to the stylish and comfortable atmosphere.

For the health conscious ‘Juice Me Up’ the new and latest juice & smoothie bars is also located within ‘The Harbour Kitchen’, waterside.

‘The Harbour Kitchen’ focuses on delivering a fresh, relaxed, casual and inviting dining atmosphere where presentation and service meet quality and comfort. The menus have been designed to cater for everybody’s individual requirements, focusing on fresh, light, healthy, creative meals combined with friendly, professional, experienced customer focused service.

The Monday to Friday daily menu appeals to many sectors with a major focus on the local businesses, with a wide variety to select from at anytime of the day. There are options to select from the short order menu or items on display.

So whether it be a freshly brewed skinny latte and a homebaked low fat muffin with a ‘juice me up’ to kick start the day or the exotic fresh fruit salad with mixed berry non fat yoghurt and a banana smoothie for morning tea, or a wok fried salt and pepper squid rocket salad served with a fresh mango salsa washed down with a cheeky glass of chardy whilst staring at Melbourne, or an after work cocktail or ale whilst nibbling from our tapas menu watching the traffic bank up over the Bolte ‘The Harbour Kitchen’ is your ‘second home’.

‘The Harbour Kitchen’ has a juice bar which is open during operating hours.

‘Juice Me Up’ offers a large selection of healthy juices and smoothies with the option of adding supplements to enhance yourself and your performance in many ways.

So whatever the time of day no matter what you may feel like ‘The Harbour Kitchen’ is the place to have your expectations exceeded.
